About Me

My name is Adam Boardman, and in most peoples eyes I am a nerd when it comes to computing, and audio production, also always up for a good laugh.

I'm currently a PHP web application developer and iPhone application developer at a company called Blue Lobster in Lowestoft. I currently specialise in building Drupal and Joomla! CMS web applications, developing some large scale sites which involved both altering Drupal Core modules and also developing completely custom modules. One of my modules Twit is currently in use on this very site providing my live Twitter feed. I've used CodeIgniter, CakePHP, Zend Framework to make custom sites, and I've also used Joomla, Wordpress and Drupal for any CMS driven sites in the past.

I read for an Audio Technology (BSc) at University of Lincoln as part of the School of Computer Science for three years. During my time at university I undertook a project developing a generative music application for the iPhone which made use of the Cocos2d-iphone OpenGL ES framework extensively for my dissertation in the Computer Science area. This was undertaken with the support of a company called The Pavement in London who specialise in multi-media BluRay and DVD post-production, with some big titles such as U2 360 and Hot Fuzz among others.

In my spare time, I can currently be found wandering along the sea front, messing with something on my MacBook, or sat relaxing whilst watching a movie or playing 360 or PS3 games.
